Israel's Paralympics heritage is one of the vital characteristics of our small state, which prides itself at overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds. Our national team of disabled athletes has brought a ray of hope to many Jews, Israelis and friends of Israel worldwide.

In the afterglow of our triumph in Paralympics Athens 2004 (4 Gold , 4 Silver and 5 Bronze medals) the proud members of our Paralympic team are already dreaming about listening to the Hatikva in another award ceremony that will be held on an international stage in Beijing 2008.
