The Israeli wheelchair basketball team finished in third place in the international wheelchair basketball tournament which took place in France.During the tournament, the Israeli team managed to overcome Holland, Belgium and Spain.
This tournament was another preparation towards the Paralympics Games in Beijing.
The coach Arik Pinto sated that this tournament was very successful. He had the opportunity to test some new players and their achievement was very good considering they missed three key players which did not participate in this tournament.
The Israeli team will have one more tournament before the Paralympics Games in Beijing.
