The minister Sara Abraham will represent Israel in the raising of the flag ceremony which will take place in three days (September 4, 2008) at the Paralympics Games in BeijingThe Israeli delegation, which consists of swimmers, rowers and the table tennis players who have arrived to the Olympic village, have started their training towards the beginning of the tournaments on Sunday.
The rest of the delegation, including the wheelchair basketball team will fly to Beijing this week.
The Israeli flag will be carried by the blind swimmer Izhar Cohen with the escort of the shooter Doron Shaziri and the swimmer Inbal Pizaro.
Over 4,000 athletes with many different types of disabilities from 148 countries will participate in the Paralympics Games.
