International Paralympics Swimming Championship
Winter 2010, Wingate Sports Institute, Israel

The Israeli championships are recognized for the purposes of achieving qualification criteria for the different Israeli teams.

The Israeli Paralympic Swimming Championships will take place on Sunday, 14th March, 2010 in the Olympic-sized pool at the Wingate Sports Institute, starting at 17:00 (competition warm-up begins at 16:00)

The co-operation of all the clubs and the coaches is necessary in order to register all the swimmers taking part in the competition by 1st March (closing date for entries), together with their entry times, with a separate entry time for every swimmer for every event.

Swimmers who have previously had official classification are eligible to participate in the official competition. Swimmers who have not been officially classified by the date of the competition not have the minimum disability according to the official (IPC) classification system, will be able to compete in a special unclassified event, under class S 15.

The competition is open to young swimmers (between the ages of 14 and 17) and adult swimmers over the age of 17.

Swimmers who are not registered in their local Paralympics Sports Association must attach a copy of a valid medical examination and a copy of a valid personal accident insurance certificate, in accordance with the Israeli "Sports Law".
